Getting To Know Us
Milford Baptist Church was founded in 1832 . Over the last 175 plus years our church has been involved in many outreach programs . These programs still exist today ; including Sunday School for all ages , traditional worship services and special programs for the children during the Wednesday evening Bible Study . Of course , in all our services the main goal is to point people to Christ or have a more committed life for Christ . We support the programs of the Southern Baptist Convention and believe that the Bible is God's word to mankind and should be studied and used to guide one's life day in and day out . In addition to what goes on inside the walls of our church we know that what we do and how we as a church impact our community is as important as what is done at the church servies . Our goal is to meet to receive God's vision and to strengthen and encourage one another but then to go into our community , place of work , home , school ; or wherever God leads to present the Gospel and to minister to people we come in contact with under the direction and leadership of the Holy Spirit . We truly are committed to our motto to impact lives in such a way that they will : "Meet The Lord At Milford".
